- Malachite measures 3.5 - 4 on the Mohs scale of hardness, this means it is not safe to use in water and could be potentially toxic used directly in water, oil elixirs or spiritual baths.
- Malachite scratches easily, so its best kept out of contact with rough surfaces.
- When cleansing this crystal smoke cleansing is your best friend, avoid using salt as it may cause scratches or water immersion.
- Malachite needs cleansing regularly, cleanse before and after each use, you can use incense, frequency or selenite .
- Your malachite can be charged under the moon, in the sunlight (for short periods of time), in connection to with the earth; either placed on the grass or buried in the soil.
